PMFs have been introduced by EPS across the defence, transport and construction sectors. They are strategic business change programmes designed to provide efficiency and control and drive performance and excellence. They significantly contribute to establishing a consistent way of working across a business and enable clients to differentiate its offer to customers.
A PMF integrates the fundamentals of project management to make delivery of projects more assured and their managers more effective. It assists project managers by providing the processes, methodologies, systems and training required to deliver consistently excellent work.
Implementing a PMF and embedding it within a business typically takes 2 to 3 years. It is achieved within 3 discrete phases: establishing the foundations for success; developing capability and then demonstrating high performance.
