We follow a structured approach to delivering our training and education services:
Training strategy and planning
Our initial assessment of requirements will take into account the strategy of the business and its key goals and objectives. These factors are critical to ensure that the training events and communication plans are fit for purpose.
Training assessment needs
A training needs analysis is conducted to determine the specific requirements for each target audience (e.g. executive, technical, end user) as well as the most suitable training method. EPS go beyond the traditional skills gap analysis to also develop an effective communication plan that will support the business or project’s change management programme. Typically, a training needs analysis would be from 3 to 25 days of effort.
Training design
These activities are a result of the training needs analysis. Training design will map out the training schedule, define course content, map to audiences and fully define the method and approach to course development. The deliverable at this stage will be defined course aims and objectives together with a high level synopsis for each.
Training delivery plan
These activities define a “delivery” plan for each course, including its content, student materials, instructor materials and workshop requirements.
Change management
Implementing skills training is only part of the training solution. Creating awareness and buy in from your staff is also critical to ensure success and reduce risk. This can involve implementing appropriate and effective communication activities corporate wide, ensuring individuals are fully aware of the change to themselves as well as to the business.
Delivery of training plan
Delivery of training courses can be done through EPS’ professional trainers or the client’s own resources, as appropriate. This can be delivered either on the client’s premises or at EPS’ dedicated training facility.
EPS’ Training Programme Manager will work closely with the client’s project manager to ensure that the training plan is delivered on time and to budget. EPS can also provide individual coaches or instructors for one day or to deliver/support the whole training programme.
Training programmes can be charged based on fixed price or per-day. Individual coaching or instructor led training attracts a cost on a per-day basis.
